Red pepper may not have the best food but they make up for that with great prices and atmosphere. Its a great family owned in town dinner that offers a nice cheap place to go on a first date and or go with family.

Food was good. Staff was very kind and funny. Made it an enjoyable time.

Waited an extra 1/2 hour for tacos! So this is definitely not fast food. Add some seasoning! I thought Mexican food was kinda spicy.

Forget downtown this is the best mexican restaurant in Port Huron - everything is prepared fresh and is full of flavor - we just love the tacos and chimi, plus the salsa is really good, not to hot, not to mild - generous portions and really great prices

This is a great place to unwind at lunch! Tom, the new owner, has done a great job since he has taken over. Toni is always warm and friendly to the customers. Very affordable with lots of menu choices!! A+++

If I could put a zero I would my fiance called and ordered food then called back to pay over the phone now mine you it was a little late about 10 mins before close but they had already thrown out our food. On top of that I was within 20 ft of the store when I got the call to head back home after my fiance was rudely told that they had thrown our food away and told us we were a no show. I'm in the parking lot and wanted to say something to that woman but I held back and went home if you ever want us as a customer again this needs to change the order I understand a little but being rude to my fiance was very uncalled for...

This place has changed for the better..Tom the new owner was excellent and always is when ever we go there...

Not bad yet what I had was not "good " ,taco Tuesday, 50 cent tacos. You get what you pay for. Taco meat had no tast at all. Besides that.....good.

I love the food and I keep on coming back. Prices are very reasonable and the food is the most authentic that you will get in this area, however the place does not look very clean and the booth's have rips in their seats. That's the only reason why I gave it 3 stars.

We love taco Tuesday here! We went there for dinner yesterday and as always it was fast, friendly and fun! Our waitress was great even when we spilled a glass of water all over our table. Oppsie! They have great prices and a great atmosphere. Keep up the good work.

Went in for the “ taco Tuesday” tacos. First time since the new owner has taken over. Tacos were very good! Price is excellent! No complaints!

The meal was Ok, I mean the meat had no taste and the hot sauce was too much. Good chips great staff.

This place is a local favorite for American-Mexican foods. I won't lie, the inside of the restaurant is old and honestly a little gross sometimes. The staff does clean the tables and chairs well, but there is this general "old and gross" feel when inside. That DOES NOT, however, depict the food. The food here is definitely the best Mexican around. The tacos are huge with tons of meat, lettuce, tomato, etc. They seem homemade (which is quite nice) and are served with tortilla chips and mild and hot salsa at every table. The menu is actually quite large if you're not going there just for Tacos on Taco Tuesday, where the prices come down a fair amount to drive consumers inside. The food is outstanding, but the interior could probably use some upgrades. Overall, the food has to stump the issues with the interior, hence my rating.

You know when you were in middle school and you went over to a friends house and they cooked for you? It's like that here. Bland and surprised.The ground beef was bland and the salsa tasted sweet like ketchup. They gave me a goop bland sauce alongside the chimichanga that I don't know what it's for. There was no kick to it and you have to squirt the salsa bottle touched by everyone before you on your chip because they don't have salsa bowls.I'm not one to ask for a refund but I was going to let the waitress know the food wasn't good. Thing is she never asked how everything tasted. She just asked if we were done and handed the bill. Staff isn't rude, but they just seemed like they were trying to get through the day.. at 10:45am. Environment was pretty much American with country music playing in the background.Really disappointed because I wanted to like it. Not going there again.

This place is weird. It's like they take pride in serving really poorly made Mexican food. I ordered the enchiladas on this visit because I've had tacos from here in the past and they were horrible. I asked for some limes and the waitress said they had none. Then I asked for a lemon slice and she said they're not that fancy. ??? Lemons are not fancy. Coney island has lemons! I could make better tasting Mexican food in my kitchen. And that's what I plan to do from now on. Two stars because the server was sweet.

Terrible delivery service, was twenty minutes late after a 2 hour notice for specific delivery time. Didn't receive my whole order either. I recommend dining in if you want their food, it is delicious but clearly they have some issues with communication.

Ordered take out. Tacos were worth the extra compared to the red peppers. Friendly staff and quick take time. Will return very soon.

New owner tom is great as is all of staff food has been always great can't say enough..
